Where do I even begin with Kate and Kris? They are the sweetest people you will encounter. They both have a way of making you feel at ease and like an instant friend. I met Kate at first and she told me about how they were planning a small ceremony with just a few family members and friends. And afterwards, a reception with more friends and family. I completely related to how they wanted to approach their wedding day because I’m not big on being the center of attention either! I loved the idea of an intimate ceremony and party after. And what is so funny is that after their ceremony at the Fort Schyuler Club, I quickly realized how many people love Kate and Kris because the attendance number for their reception was huge!
When I met Kris, it was like seeing Kate become whole. Not that she’s not beautiful and wonderful independently, just that he created so much joy for her and her for him. They complimented each other so well and they clearly have been ready for married life. They make a perfect team. Seeing his reaction to Kate walk down the isle and his joy after being pronounced husband and wife said it all. This is a great love that is everlasting.
We took photos around the downtown Utica area which meant a lot to me since this city is my home. Went went to the Utica Public Library, Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute, and the Utica Train station for photos. And at the Radisson Hotel, all their guests started to arrive to witness some of the funniest speeches and fun filled dancing on the dance floor. I loved the huge party just as much as I loved the intimate ceremony. Seeing Kate and Kris enjoy their wedding day made me so happy and I know nothing but wonderful things are in store for their future. Congratulations Kate and Kris!
