The first time I met Amy and John was actually on their wedding day. They’ve been wedding planning from Manhattan then Nashville and are busy bodies! I spoke with Amy over the phone and from those chats I already knew it would be a perfect working relationship. When I met them I didn’t realize I would just simply enjoy their company so much and loved witnessing how happy they are together. Their proposal story cracked me up! John planned a beautiful and romantic proposal. He had a pathway of flower petals on the floor. He got down on one knee with the ring and asked Amy to married him. She said yes and then the exterminator came to the door. Such a classic New York City proposal!
Amy and John’s wedding day had us all on the edge of our seat. The day had a 60% chance of rain leading up but completed faded the day of. They got their perfect outdoor ceremony right by Otesaga Lake. I have never seen smiles so big after that first kiss. It was like they floated by down the isle on a cloud of bliss. Really though, John was fist pumping into the air!
After we finished with photos, I found Amy and John with their parents just hanging out on a private balcony. I loved it. Instead of joining cocktail hour they were just enjoying each other’s company and taking in their new marriage. There was really something special about that moment and the energy of happiness reverberating from that balcony. And the rest of the night was that exact same energy, irrevocable happiness! It was the perfect wedding day for Amy and John and I am so happy for them. Congratulations you two!!!
