The morning of Caroline and Andrew’s wedding, my second shooter and I were pretty excited about a gorgeous drive up to the Adirondacks. We grabbed some coffee, rolled the windows down, and enjoyed the weather that was perfection on their wedding day. I walked into Caroline’s family camp to be kindly greeted by her fabulous and funny bridesmaids and her sweet parents, John and Mary. I noticed old pictures of Caroline and Andrew hanging from the stair railing. It was almost like looking into their history and watching them grow up together. It made me realize that yes the fact that they met in high school is a very sweet story but also it’s an amazing thing to watch two people grow as teenagers then young adults into adults with careers and still always come back to each other’s love. Another thing I noticed was a piece of paper in which Andrew wrote “five things I love about my future wife”. And I learned a lot about Andrew and Caroline from that. They admire each other and lift each other up. What better partnership could there be?
Everything about Andrew and Caroline’s wedding day was beautiful and perfect. They worked really hard on making an Adirondack wedding with such class and timeless beauty. From a classic wedding ceremony at St. Anthony’s in Inlet, New York to a huge celebration at the Adirondack League Club in Old Forge. You couldn’t have asked for better weather or better people to surround yourself with. Caroline’s dress was custom made and I must say, she perfected that dress by adding those sleeves! And Andrew looked so handsome and so happy to make Caroline his wife. And I must say, even with so much going on that day, Caroline and Andrew were the most relaxed. It was great to see them just ENJOY their wedding day.
I was lucky enough to work with Cryin’ Out Loud Live from Troy, New York, a rockin’ band that entertained everyone at the reception. They completed an incredible celebration that was filled with heartfelt speeches and a packed dance floor. Caroline’s dad definitely wins the life of the party though, as he had a pretty awesome speech that came equipped with some great childhood photos and killed it on the dance floor! It was such a pleasure to be part of their wedding day and I’m excited for their new chapter as husband and wife. Congratulations to Caroline and Andrew!
