Jill & Colton – Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, New York from Janelle Bonagurio on Vimeo.
Jill and Colton are amazing! They are certainly the type of people that you want to hang out with because they are so much fun and down to Earth. These two met at a hockey game in Florida where they currently live. Ever since that moment, they blossomed a relationship of five years and then Colton decided to pop the question. Jill obviously said yes! So all the way from Florida they managed to plan an incredible wedding in Clayton, New York right by the 1000 Islands on the St. Lawrence River where sunsets are so stunning that you can’t help but stop to look.
I entered the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel to find Jill and her bridesmaids listening to throwbacks from high school and sipping on champagne. Her dress blew my mind with such intricate fabric and beadwork. And when she put it on, it was clear that the dress and her were made for each other! Absolutely stunning! Her bridesmaids put on these beautiful leaf wreaths and it was game time!
We headed to the Antique Boat Museum, now one of my favorite places! A museum right on the water that has some of the most historic and beautiful boats in the world? I’ll take that! The ceremony by the water was like a dream. There was beautiful foliage hugging the alter arch and the water behind them was gleaming. The weather was perfectly warm with a slight breeze and all the guests were excited to watch Jill and Colton get married. The ceremony was beautifully sweet and like that, Colton and Jill because husband and wife.
After a beautiful first dance and speeches that deserved grand cheers of champagne, everyone was ready for party time. The reception began as the sun set and everyone jumped into the taco bar. The wild party began and developed all through the night. Everyone danced with all they had to celebrate Jill and Colton’s new life together. It was fun, exciting, and beautiful watching their loved ones support their love. The night came to a conclusion as Jill and Colton were sent off with sparklers, hopped into their vehicle, and went on their way to Maui to enjoy their honeymoon. Talk about perfection, right? I am so happy for Jill and Colton! Congratulations on your marriage!!
