Kim and Steve met at Binghamton University and what first started out as an interaction in an academic project turned into an inseparable friendship. These two have gone strong through undergrad, grad school, long distance, and finding the perfect careers as industrial engineers. Their lives have been beyond busy and have made them professional travelers. Then finally in 2016 they moved in together which alleviated the distance and missing each other. And this of course led to the next cornerstone in their life journey together. Steve proposed to Kim during a wine tour in the Finger Lakes!
I have to say that I am so lucky to have been graced to know Kimberly and Steve. I first spoke to Kim over the phone and it was like talking to a girl friend I’ve had for years. Then we first met for their engagement session which just solidified the fact that Kim and Steve are the nicest people in the world. Their positivity glows and they were so excited about planning their wedding.
Once their wedding day arrived I knew it would be nothing but moments of beauty. Everything about it was timelessly exquisite. They had a white wedding that started at Blessed Sacrament Church. They had a string quartet playing the best of Disney as their guests found their seats. The ceremony was sacred and warm. Afterwards we headed to Aloft hotel for photos and then to Marriott Syracuse Downtown for more! The ballroom was like nothing I have ever seen before. The ceilings were painted as a sky and the decor was so stunning. The energy of everyone was so vibrant that I was amped for what the night had in store. As suspected, it started out with a bang! The intros were wild and hilarious thanks to the amazing bridal party. The speeches were a perfect harmony of heartfelt words and humorous jokes. The night was filled with great food, cocktails, and non-stop dancing.
I caught Kim and Steve just looking at everything happening around them, soaking it all in. I was so glad to witness that moment and understand that they were in bliss that they are married and all their people were there in one place. I am so honored to have been able to be a part of their wedding day. Congratulations to Kim and Steve!!
