Lauren was attending St. Lawrence University and Taylor was attending their rival school, Clarkson University. Oddly enough, they met at a mixer and afterwards kept hanging out with each other. As you can imagine that friendship developed into something official! That relationship led to living together, traveling together, adopting their dog Oslo, and getting married in Clayton, New York!!
As much as I’ve been loving Summer I was very pleased to see mid 70s in the forecast for Lauren and Taylor’s wedding day. It was a perfect day to hang with Lauren’s hilarious girlfriends and Taylor’s equally hilarious groomsmen. And when you have a wedding at The Antique Boat Museum, why not ride around in antique boats? That’s exactly what we did to get to the museum for a beautiful ceremony right by the St. Lawrence River.
Lauren and Taylor’s family worked their butts off to create such a beautiful reception. I remember checking it beforehand and seeing everyone hurrying to perfect everything. It takes a village! When Lauren and Taylor saw everything all together, I kept hearing them say “OH LOOK!” The reception was magical and also a real party! It was a successfully gorgeous day and I feel so honored to have documented it all. Congratulations to Lauren and Taylor!!
